for those using gmail, there's been an ongoing puzzle about why you
send a message to the list , but don't see it in your list mail.  the
answer is simple.  that's just the way google does it.  you don't see
copies of the same message.  you see it only in sent mail.  and then
when it comes back to you via the list, gmail just assumes you've
already seen it and never displays the received version.  so just
because you don't receive your own postings does not mean that they
didn't go to the list.
