A bow to you, Michael, for managing this lightly in the past. I'm trying to follow your lead with a sustainable moderation effort.

I realize that there has been a transition and not everyone will like it. It's probably why there is a flurry of unsubscribe me messages.

*Please please don't* email the list with unsubscribe requests.

*Please please just email* [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> if you want to go.

If you don't honor this request, you're just going to keep getting emails.

If you used to get the emails in Digest form - you can do that again. I'm sorry it wasn't preserved. That might have added another 5-10 hours of effort for me. I hope you won't mind managing that yourself. Just click on the link at the bottom of the emails. You will eventually be able to fetch your password if you lost the email that included it. And then you'll be able to log in and change to digest mode.

just to say that what you've just said about how this thing will be managed, in terms of subscribing and unsubcribing, is exactly how it's been for a long time. too many for me to keep up with, that's what the footer is for, best i can tell. passion bounded by responsibility. same as it ever was.

big thanks, harold!

A list of this size is going to constantly have people coming and
going - and it really is not feasible for me to manually track
requests for subscribing and unsubscribing. I just changed a
setting so that subscription management requests you make will not
go to the list anymore. It's unlikely I will see them either. They
will be lost in a flood of spam held in the queue. I just can't
    keep up with it.

Instructions for unsubscribing were sent out March 31 when I
    transferred your accounts to lists.openspacetech.org
    <http://lists.openspacetech.org>.

If you click on the link that at the bottom of every email - you
will find a link that will let you unsubscribe.

You can also send an email to [email protected]
<mailto:[email protected]> and that should get you
    off the list.

        Thanks,
        Harold
