allison-jan and all greetings--
thanks for your reply.
speaking as a purist (being a wee bit dogmatic?)- if that weeklong NVC training
was anything like the International Intensives I've heard about, i think things
are tweaked a bit so it isn't fully open space. Sure, it's close to the real
thing...but... : )
and allison-jan, please say more about
>>I say thank heaven for those who are "not-quite-peaceful and a wee bit
>>dogmatic in the open space community" and every other community.
greetings from a cold, seattle-esque san diego (time to rename the city San
Seattle??),

Hi Raffi and All,
Sorry for earlier hitting the wrong button and sending a blank reply!
What I intended to say was that a friend told me she attended a week-long Non
Violent Communication training that was fully conducted in Open Space.
It was held near Melbourne, in Oz, and she found it to be most inspiring both
as far as NVC was concerned and as an introduction, for her, to OST.
She is now right behind my hope of bringing Open Space to the organisation of
Ortho-Bionomy, the gentle bodywork we both practise.
I think both Open Space and Ortho-Bionomy have great similarities.
On your last point, Raffi...
I say thank heaven for those who are "not-quite-peaceful and a wee bit dogmatic
in the open space community" and every other community.
Cheerio from a really sunny and warm day in Healesville, SE Australia,
Allison.
