Tricia – I think Jeff hit the nail right on the head! POW!! Three days is more than enough time for lots to happen – doing things just like we always do. That said, it sounds like you senior management is having a little nervous bit, and second thoughts and new program design. If it were me, I would gently tell management that They asked for an Open Space. I intend to do an Open Space – and if they want an alternate program, that is certainly their right, but I can’t help them. No need to be insulting, even defensive. Just tell them like it is. And for sure don’t get yourself pushed into a corner where you are supposed to do a “little bit of Open Space,” “modified Open Space.” Doesn’t work and frustrates everyone. Have fun. Deep breath, and all that.

I guess part of the answer is sticky dot voting. Cool. I will have to improvise asking people to keep track of their dots using markers since I will have no time to get dots, but that should be ok in a small gorup of 13...not ideal - other thoughts on this are welcome. my questions are - is it ok to do prioritization at outset of day 1?
