We should honor that there's a shadow side to this as well. Not these powerful
celebrations, but the policy focus of the campaign, that sadly overlooks the
needs of communities whose voices are too often disregarded in "mainstream"
conversations.
Lots more space still needs to be opened my friends!
See the Feb 14 marches for rights and safety of indigenous women across Canada
for example, and the conflict of understanding and worldview with the V Day
campaign.
The real conversation is just beginning in many ways... may it flourish...!
