A colleague at SAP sent this video link to a community forum to talk about the problems with performance reviews and his insight was that this video was related to the problems with extrinsic versus intrinsic motivation (e.g. Dan Pink's book Drive).

The video is titled "How to organise a Children's Party" - and I thought it applied very well as a description of why Open Space Technology works compared to "Chaotic Systems" and "Ordered Systems" - delivered in just 3 minutes with dry British wit:
