These e-mail messages are a hoax and the false warning of a malicious e-mail does not exist. There is currently no virus that has the characteristic described in the message. The message is a variant of the "Join the Crew" hoax and another variant called "JUST WIN A HOLIDAY". CIAC recommends that you DO NOT pass the message to others." Before forwarding ANY message which puports to warn people of an email virus, please check the standard sources of information on such, CIAC's "Internet Hoaxes" page at http://ciac.llnl.gov/ciac/CIACHoaxes.html and Data Fellow's "Hoax warnings on the run" at http://www.Europe.DataFellows.com:80/news/hoax/ If someone wants to waste email users' time and overload their mailboxes, s/he need not develop an actual virus.
