Indeed. Thanks for that. I'm beginning to see that poetry really does gain a foothold in OS during the closing circle. Some groups have a real hunger for powerful endings that acknowledge the work. The Aboriginal youth I worked with did a Maori ending where each person travels around the circle pressing their forehead against the forehead of the other, and mingling their breath. It's pretty intimate, but it worked, and it was their idea. I'd love to hear other stories of great endings....
