Dear OSLIST Poets, This is a reminder that there are six days left to submit a poem to the biannual contest.
FORM: Three "Haikus" combined into a single poem. Each haiku has three lines, with 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second, and 5 in the third. TOPIC: Inspired by Open Space, whatever that means to you. SEND TO: rhett&[email protected] You may also post it to the list if you wish. DEADLINE: Saturday, November 11, 12:00 midnight pacific time. The contest is for fun, and all poems are welcomed gratefully, including those in languages other than English. The "convergence" takes place on the list during the week of Nov 12, when I send out all the poems anonymously and list members send me their votes. The author of the winning poem assumes the title of OSLIST Poet Laureate for six months, and sponsors the next contest. Thanks to those who have submitted already. Have fun!
