Dear colleagues from last year's OSonOS and os-list members, I have now closed the books on the Vancouver Assistance Program. The notes I sent out to you and to the os-list members brought a response of US$ 150. Together with the money pledged at the Berlin OSonOS last year there was a sum of US $ 2150. This will assist 6 people from Haiti and one each from Brazil, Marocco and Germany to attend this year's OSonOS in Vancouver. I am writing you this because a request came in from Israel today.
