Hi there One of the people who participated in the Closing Circle in Vancouver said 'The next Buddha will be the collective' and, I think, the name of a person who had written about this concept. .
I would wish to know more of this. A componenent of the spirit of the gathering, as I experienced it, was the backdrop of children's laughter in the recordings of plenary sessions. An enchanting, memorable touch.
