Dearest all, It is true that we are still jolted into what really matters by tragedy... the precious connection that holds us all together. The way we live and breathe as one, even when we ignore, deny, or pretend there are things that separate us still. Can I hold that precious connection without the reminder afforded by suffering?
I was happy to hear from you Harrison. Thank God your family is okay! My love and condolences to you and all affected in New York and Washington. I hold space for the suffering of those who have lost someone or who still do not know a loved one's fate... Thank God that Birgitt and Ward are inviting us all to hold space for universal harmony - it is so relevant. I will be with you all. I hold space for the potentials not yet realized and the dreams not yet dared to be dreamed. Today, I am jolted into reflecting on the ways I have contributed to terror. Small looks, feelings, actions, angry outbursts, and rejections. I am moved to see my pain, from which they arose, and the cost for humanity. There is so much suffering! I pray that we will all stretch enough to hold space for it all - for our sakes and for the sakes of our little children 'om-ing' love songs in our ears. We cannot hate a person whose story we know... I hold space for the people whose pain is so immense that it seeks relief in any way it can. My love to you all and my prayers for an end to your individual, and our collective, suffering.
