THat was my thought too Harrison. No planes in the sky. Usually we are inundated with airliners making the big journey north to Asia, or coming in over our island to land at Vancouver International. We see contrails too, and hear the buzz of seaplanes and helicopters.
But yesterday, and again today, nothing. The odd light in the sky as a late arriving trans-pacific flight put down in Vancouver instead of Seattle or San Francisco, or Los Angeles. But other than that it was quiet. Like we are given a chance to start again. A little open space to begin reframing our experience of the world?
