Ted-- Haven't ever tried it--it's usually enough work to walk the client design team through the process of writing one invitation!
Philosophically, it sort of goes against my value around having everyone there on an equal basis. Seems to me that it would be better to send one invitation that includes appeals to different stakeholders.
