dear michael, judi and glory, i have forwarded your conversation on to my good friend steven werlin, who 'taught' a course this past spring semester called, 'education that liberates.' he used open space technology user guide as the text book. after spending the first couple of weeks reading and discussing it, the class launched into open space for the rest of the semester. students decided to extend invitations to anyone in the college interested in joining them for each class. they conducted open space pretty much by the book, each week giving participants opportunity to post subjects and divide into small groups.
i hope steven, who is the dean of the college (shimer college, waukegan IL) has time to share in greater detail, his experience. in case anyone is interested in contacting him directly--he is not on the list serve--his email during the summer while he is in haiti is: [email protected] john http://www.beyondborders.net/experiment.htm _________________________________________________________________ Affichez, modifiez et partagez gratuitement vos photos en ligne: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx * * ========================================================== [email protected] ------------------------------ To subscribe, unsubscribe, change your options, view the archives of [email protected], Visit: http://listserv.boisestate.edu/archives/oslist.html
