Brendan -- I used Open Space last year for strategic planning for a local Catholic Diocese. I think you'll find some posts about it in our OSLIST archives.
Two weekends, 115 people, ages 14 to 70-something, from the Monsignor to the teen in the youth group, 4 languages, and including convergence with ritual, breathing and prayer. I can connect you with those clients so you can talk about how they marketed it within their own organization, how they fit it in to the overall design and decision making process for the final plan, how they disseminated the information and action to their parishes through bulletins, prayer and matching grants programs. They're also happy to be contacted directly by future users of Open Space who might want some feedback on how the process worked for them. Let me know - I'm happy also to throw some ideas back and forth with you about it all.
