Ask them what they need or want to prepare themselves for an opportunity to consider their future and how they might support each other. I have a hunch it won't take much at all. Open space is so simple. What, after all, does a person need to do to spend a day with nothing to do but think and talk about something of interest? Less may be more now. When I find that I want to prepare people for open space, I am being very sympathetic but not necessarily useful.
