Working in Open Space The Midwest Open Space on Open Space Milwaukee, Wisconsin May 30-31, 2003 Please join us for the Second Annual Midwest 'Open Space on Open Space.' The theme of the conference is simple: WORKING IN OPEN SPACE. As corporate and community, local and global events of the last several years have made stunningly clear, the future is wide open, uncharted, AND still largely ours to create. In short, we are all WORKING IN OPEN SPACE. The old forms of normal are gone and the new forms have yet to feel right. In the midst of it all, the practice of WORKING IN OPEN SPACE holds the possibility for peace. We are gathering and working and learning together in this conference to make and experience this for ourselves and our organizations. This invitation and event are open to all practitioners of open space technology and anyone interested in learning more about how to use open space in any kind of organization. To be clear, however, it is not a training event. Even though there will be lots of learning going on, each participant is fully responsible for their own share of that. The hosts and facilitators will provide only the space for friends and colleagues to gather IN open space, to work ON opening more space -- in all kinds of organizations. Please pass this on to friends and colleagues! This is our local mirroring of the stream of international open spaces on open space, which has been great fun, great support and a growing community for 10 years now. Please join us for the continued growth, learning, community and practice that is Open Space Technology in the Midwestern USA! ---- WHEN: Friday evening May 30th, 2003, from 6pm to whenever it's over for the evening AND Saturday, May 31st, 2003, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Dinner is a possibility on both evenings. WHERE: The Board Room at Cardinal Stritch University, 6801 N. Yates Road, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. REGISTRATION: Michael Herman at mailto:[email protected] or Sheila Isakson at mailto:[email protected]. Cost is $35, paid in advance, to cover meeting costs.
