Thank you Eddie and all of you that help us through this awful time. The day before this happened, I decided to join the Swedish Ecumenical Womens Committe for Peace and Violence, to offer my experiences in dialogue and democratic meeting procedures. Tomorrow is the first Idea-meeting, which no doubt will deal with Anna´s work and how we can work in her spirit. She was a good friend to many of the women in this network. The work is based of UN Security COuncil Resolution 1325. ".. urges all member states to increase the representation of women at all decision making levels in national, regional och international institutions and mechanisms for the prevention, management and resolution of conflict.-----"
Anna Lindh was one of the front figures to support the work for peace, conflict resultation and non-violence and now she has become a victim of what she courageously and passionately worked against.
