Good point, John -- but I think the larger one is that we have to open the space for as broad a mix of diversity as possible -- all those who care to come. This would certainly include dissent, but also the oddballs, screwballs, and particularly the strangers -- who may be all or none of the above. One might worry that all this flotsam and jetsam would be disruptive -- and it certainly can be. But I find that Open Space (and indeed any old competent self-organizing system) has a marvelous sewage treatment system which seems to take care of the problem. Call it the law of Two feet. Harrison
