Larry--

Harrison often talks about "appropriate structure," and I think that knowing
what needs controlling and what does not is an important part of that. Most
of us would like to be somewhere between the divine right of kings and
anarchy.

I do believe that hierarchy may emerge in self-organizing situations. But
if that emergent hierarchy becomes rigid and impervious to subsequent
self-organizing, the original purpose and meaning are gone.

It's encouraging to me that thousands of people around the world are trying
to learn this new dance!
