Hello, folks - a facilitator colleague of mine who lives in Portland, Oregon, USA...
Suzanne Bader suzba...@easystreet.com ...is working on her research thesis paper for her academic degree. She would like your help, if you're interested - she'd like your thoughts and experiences regarding organizational development and the questions below. If you would like to share your responses with her please contact her *directly* at suzba...@easystreet.com She says: - - - - - I would ask the following questions: 1) Is encouraging individual and collective reflection in organizational development processes something you do in your practice? 2) What specific methods do you use to encourage critical reflection? 3) Do you provide time for reflective activities both within formal settings (while you are with your clients) as well as ask them to engage in reflection on their own and in daily practice? 4) How effective are reflective learning activities in surfacing underlying beliefs and assumptions which drive organizational behavior? 5) What helps/hinders the effective use of critical reflection in organizational development processes? I hope this frames the discussion. What I'm really after is how best to embed reflective practice in enacting positive organizational change. I am most interested in what is possible outside facilitated sessions in daily practice. -- Suzanne Bader suzba...@easystreet.com - - - - - Thank you for helping her out, Lisa ________________________________ L i s a H e f t Consultant, Facilitator, Educator O p e n i n g S p a c e 2325 Oregon Berkeley, California 94705-1106 USA +01 510 548-8449 <mailto:lisah...@openingspace.net> lisah...@openingspace.net <http://www.openingspace.net> www.openingspace.net * * ========================================================== osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu ------------------------------ To subscribe, unsubscribe, change your options, view the archives of osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu: http://listserv.boisestate.edu/archives/oslist.html To learn about OpenSpaceEmailLists and OSLIST FAQs: http://www.openspaceworld.org/oslist
