Loosely translated (I think): How can I contribute to employers not cancelling work for us now and in the future? This wasn't the theme as agreed when we last talked with the sponsor but the priest, who began this organization 40 years ago, changed it when employers threatened to stop providing jobs for the young people, who are mostly in this program dealing with drug addictions. Originally, it was something like "How can I contribute to the best possible work opportunities for myself and my friends now and in the future?" Anyway, the new theme was in huge signs all over the place when we arrived the morning of the OS. The short of it is that OS works as it always does, even with 1,800 people. The kids were full of life and energy and virtually every session was in some way about taking responsibility for their lives. They posted 210 sessions over 3 time periods and another 95 for day 2. The priest, who is in his mid-seventies, loves microphone time...the teachers participating love to take charge...and the kids still managed to find their voice.
