This question has been raised many times but I am not sure of any present
research.
But it strikes me, for a reason I cannot just now put my finger on, that
the question is perhaps off-base: What do they want to measure, and why?
Why this Western preoccupation with measuring?
It seems to me it is like measuring a new grandbaby's smile (I collected a
bunch this afternoon!).
Anybody else have a good way of expressing what I am intuiting here?
