Hello, Sue. I enjoyed your post! When you mentioned "lighten up and loosen up", I thought you might like to know that every November 14 is LULU Day -- Loosen Up, Lighten Up Day. I registered it with Chase's a couple of years ago so it is official. It's described in the directory as "a day to remind people of all the benefits of joy and laughter."

I registered some other holidays and a couple of them might be of interest to you all:

SCUD Day (Savor the Comic, Unplug the Drama Day). July 8. A day to remind people of the benefits of spending more time in the Comic Zone and less time in the Drama Zone.

Upsy Daisy Day. June 8. A day to remind people to get up gloriously, gratefully, and gleefully each morning.

WYTUG Day (What You Think Upon Grows Day). May 31. A day to remind people of the power of positive thinking.
