Never being one to avoid the tough issues of the day <ahem!> here goes on
the microphone cord question:
1. Get a cord twice as long as you think you need.
2. Walk the circle from starting point all the way around clockwise; then
turn and walk back counter-clockwise. Repeat as necessary, till your tail
ache goes away. <couldn't resist!>
3. Hold a loop of cord with the microphone handle. This will keep the cord
noise from being transmitted through the microphone.
Those are my guesses. Anybody else? What did you do, Wendy?
