Bay Area Sol - Fractal Meeting – Final   Announcement

Friday, September 30,    10 am - 3pm – Saybrook University / San Francisco

Topic: Integral Leadership - integral leadership is the emergent phenomenon of leader/collaborator behaviors in dynamic conditions of individual and systems change.

Russ Volckmann will explore the concept of integral leadership and how it is being used in leadership development. During this session we will focus on:

(1)   Key concepts of leadership and why an integral approach is helpful. (2)   The key concepts of integral (and related) theory being applied to understanding leadership and leadership development. These concepts will be explored as value-added tools.
(3)   Challenging questions about development.
(4)   A review of applications of integral theory to leadership and its development, as well as presentation of the results of interviews with practitioners on four continents who have been designing and implementing these applications. (5)   A generative process within the group to explore application of integral theory in work related to leadership (and organizational) development.

Russ Volckmann is an organization development consultant and executive coach whose work since 1997 has been focused on integral theory and its application in leadership development, including executive team development. He is the author of A Leadership Opportunity and editor and publisher of the Integral Leadership Review. His article, “Assessing Executive Leadership: An integral approach” appears in the July 2005 issue of the Journal of Organizational Change Management.

We look forward to re convening the group . . .
