Thanks, Don and others, for sharing about your 'shortie' OS 'demos'. I
have done the same (1 hour and 15 minutes has been my shortest) and I
agree - a real, true issue of meaning to the group, setting up the full
room as if for a full, complete OS, and really giving people an
experiential 'tease' of what it's like and what amazing topics it can
bring into the conversation. Then supplying them with handouts and
dates of nearby in-person learning workshops or other ways to learn more
for themselves.

On my handouts I say when and why OS would and wouldn't be used,
including the deliverables of a short OS as compared to a longer one -
in that way I feel it is explaining how a longer OS would be more useful
and why - quite a great advertisement for folks who want to explore it
further...and yet also a physical experience of what it feels like to be
invited to explore issues of passion and responsibility, diversity and
discovery...

Lisa
