Thank you, Tree. That answers my question.

I didn't mean to imply that the person opening the space would determine or even suggest the process, but rather the person hosting the session, that would say they wanted to use a particular process: "I have envisioned using OS and allowing those that post topics for discussion to include the method of consideration. For example, someone might say "I want to have a conversation cafe on x." or "I want to give a presentation on the work I am doing to clean up Japhet Creek and then lead a conversation on how we can do it better." or "I will give an introductory workshop on nonviolent communication."

Jimmy, within the context of an OS event, it would be fine to post a
session in the marketplace on the demonstration of process. Then, the
right people would show up for that topic and the right things would
unfold.

As I tried to point out in my last post, it is reasonable for someone
holding a session during an OS event to use a specific process for
that session. But if you are thinking you have to 'educate' everyone
about the correct manner for their open space conversations before you
can trust them to have open space conversations, then I agree with
Wendy's conclusion that you are still thinking you are in control.
