I share Harrison's curiosity, Kathleen.  If you 'have the fever' for
open space for strategic planning, why not trust the fever and give it
a try.

Another thought:  I am not quite sure that holding space as an open
space practitioner is  facilitation.  There is, at least I think there
is, an important difference between holding space for strategic
planning and facilitating a strategic planning process.

If you want to learn more, you can go to openspaceworld.org, a website
that serves open space because, in very large part,  of the dedication
of Michael Herman.  On the website, you should be able to find out
about any upcoming trainings.  Plus there is lots on the website that
might help you.
