Great going Gerard! Three countries represented already, that I know of - Norway, Sweden and Denmark! Will Finland make it this time - in such case we might better rename the event NordicOSonOS - we´ll find out. Last year Pepe joined us in Stavanger but he seems not to be able to come this time - anyone else out there in suomiland?
Actually we had participants from quite a few countries outside Scandinavia at our Scandinavian OSonOS´s- apart from Finland also from Austria, Germany, USA, UK(?) as I remember it? I had one person calling today a bit worried about the language since the invitation is in English, usually we adapt the language to whatever needs there are - "scandinavian" (Swedish, Danish and Norwegian is pretty similair) is most commonly used but if there is greater diversity among the guests we help each other out. I´m sitting in my OS-office listening to Penny Lang. I bought the CD at a marvellous concert during OSonOS in Halifax. Great memories which we´ll add to in Swenmark. And later on in Moscow - I finally registered yesterday. Happy life! Sunshine outside my window. Some things we put in there I thought might be interesting to see. Here they come, written as polarities for inrpiration: Proper convergence means a two day session ......... Convergence always happens Open Space is one of our important tools Open Space is not a tool ! Most clients are not ready for Open Space Are we ready for all clients ? Open Space provides a window of opportunity........... which the client can close.. Open Space adds enormous value........ In what currency ? Potential customers are always inspired when they hear about OS Most leaders hesitate before using OS OS always works OS works under certain conditions. They still seem relevant, don't they ? So who knows one or more will figure on the agenda wall. Or anything else of course you might think of............. Come and join us in Svenmark ! Dear friends and collegues, The Open Space Institutes of Denmark and Sweden invite all OS facilitators in the Nordic countries (and all others who would happend to be around and feel like coming) to join us at the 6th Scandinavian Open Space on Open Space taking place on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th of June in Denmark. It will provide a great opportunity for us all to exchange experiences with and explore aspects of Open Space. The event will take place in Tune (20 minutes from Copenhagen) in a wonderful conference centre which we’ve managed to get at a reasonable price, as a result of which the cost per participant for two days including room, stay, all meals and all facilities we need is only Dkr. 1400 inclusive of VAT (1750 inclusive). In euro’s that is 188 and 235 respectively. If you are interested and have not received an E-mail yet directly, please contact Gerard at g...@openspace.dk or Thomas at tho...@openspaceconsulting.com for a more detailed invitation.
