Abby and Lisa, thanks for responding! I've planted a couple of
written seeds that may have been taken as criticism, so I'm just
letting them rest now. I think it's because the agenda was decided
on by diaries on the website way before the convention, so it seemed
like it was collectively done. But, other people have mentioned they
wanted some "bottom-up" time and less "top-down" time, too. If you
have any advice about this, I'd love it!

I was thinking the same thing - that this (even without my having
attended
it) would be the perfect thing for Open Space. Even if they find
they
want more conventional speakers or workshops for the first part, Open
Space for a day or two or at least for the last 4 hours ('what more
do we
want to learn / share / tell / ask / explore with each other before
we all
go on our
separate ways?').
