Fair enough, Doug, a blinding flash of the obvious -- but what happens next? I think of a young(er) friend who read my book in DRAFT and said something to the effect -- "I love all this self-organizing stuff, but it is also true that I have a business to run, people to pay, and product to get out the door. How can I do that?" This fellow has a business, but I don't think the situation would be much different if he happened to be a County Exec or the director of an NGO. Just for the sake of the argument let's suppose that you (we) were consultants/coaches to such a person. What do they do on Monday morning (and Tuesday, Wednesday. . .)? And how do we help them?
