I am writing on behalf of the board of the Open Space Institute/USA. I am reminding members of this listserv that if you are considering submitting a funding proposal to OSI/USA to help fund your possible trip to WOSonOS 08 in San Francisco, the deadline to submit a proposal to us is May 6, 2008.
I submit, for your consideration, our funding criteria below. If you want to submit a proposal, you need to submit it to me, Tree Fitzpatrick using the correct email address: tree.fitzpatrick#gmail.com. I will forward proposals to the board and notify any recipients of any awards. Here is the funding criteria: To revisit our funding criteria: ::: 1 - Projects that serve underserved areas of the world ::: 2 - Leveraged efforts that reach multiple people, especially in training or other sustaining sorts of ways ::: 3 - Situations wherein other groups or individuals have already made investments so that OSI-USA augments rather than initiates projects ::: 4 - Project sponsors and facilitators who will do good work and bring the story back to the larger OS community ::: 5.. We ask that you please wait 3 years or more before you make another request for funding from us, so that others may also have a chance to use these resources. This is a flexible criteria.
