Greetings fellow-listers,

I'm wondering if you might take a minute to vote on this project, which will make it possible for us to give 35 laptops to key Haitians in our network. These folks come from towns and villages throughout Haiti and are involved in spreading Open Space Techonology, Reflection Circles (in the classroom), and other participatory leadership and teaching methods.

Here's link to vote: www.givemeaning.com/proposal/haitiedu

Here's blog that friend Mark Dowd has started to inform people about it http://haitiedu.blogspot.com/

We've recently received $180,000 from a family foundation, which will allow us to take 40 members of our network through a three-year learning program. In addition to them gaining more skills in Open Space and Reflection Circles, computers and internet, we'll also be translating WorldBlu (www.worldblu.com) tools and materials for promoting organizational democracy. The Haitians going through this 3-year learning program are teachers, school directors and community leaders. They have influence and will be imparting the skills they learn to hundreds of organizations which translates to thousands of people.

Mark Dowd, who is part of high-tech world feels led to rally his colleagues to provide money for laptops which will free up money in the grant to use for other important things.

Will you take a minute to vote?

Thank you!

Appreciatively,

John Engle
