Hi Jeff Thank you for your proactive call to action Sad to say I when it comes to poetry I am inclined toward procrastination Please take the lead So all may read A celebration of poetical conversation
Regards Anne ps Stay tuned for the formal poetry event later in the year. A Date: Mon, 27 Apr 2009 13:18:52 -0700 From: magic.te...@hotmail.com Subject: [OSLIST] poetry! To: osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu There was a young man who had learned a good trick. He stood up and asked them all "what makes you tick?" They wrote a few words and he went for a walk. He returned and they cried "it was so good to talk!" They hugged him and gave him a kiss on the neck As he walked out the door to deposit the check. That was one of my entries in the oslist poetry celebration & contest some time ago. It did not come close to winning, of course! but it was fun to write. And fun to find again, today, as I began to feel an invitation to poetry on the list... Dear Poet Laureate Anne, does it feel like the right time? May I be helpful?
