Hello, dear colleagues -

I just dropped in to the Obama administration site inviting ideas for collaboration, transparency and engagement. Such interesting reading, from folks recommending the de- criminalization of marijuana to people interested in tax reform, to people like me interested in dialogue and inter-group learning.

I invite you to come visit my ideas and those of others, mark those ones you feel strongly about, and perhaps post some of your own.

(thanks, dear Artur - what a pleasure to hear from you - I never liked that word 'vote')

It's an odd and interesting experience - I balance my feelings of 'oh it is so American to create a marketplace where it's all about the fastest and the most'' to 'oh I see they are noticing this, starting somewhere with good intention and the best design they know - and that is how everyone learns when they try or start new things. And gee how amazing they are trying something U.S. government has never done before to invite ideas for innovation and engagement'. Sure, they'll improve, and many people are offering great feedback. But wow - this is refreshing and fascinating...

Here are my three ideas:

Increase the use of dialogic methods in business, government, non- profit and community

Design Training and Education to be interactive, participant-centered and experiential

Teaching citizens how to facilitate and experience true dialogue

It's all rather fascinating. Come take a visit and see what inspires you, makes you wonder, makes you be amazed at how different people are, invites you to post your own ideas... (I don't see anywhere where it says you must be a U.S. citizen to participate...so hey, world neighbors, come on in...! Don't let the U.S. be a closed system...we are interrelated with you all...)
