Dear Phelim and others, thanks for the encouraging words. I take it as an assignment. It seems that nobody has tried Open Space in Second Life (SL). So, let's do it! Whoever wants to join me in the preparation (we need a lot of helping hands, and maybe a little bit of money), please send an email to hol...@change-facilitation.org. You can join us even if you have no SL experience at all. We will do a little introduction.
In real life, I have recently co-founded a new group (company in the making) called Radical Inclusion. We want to Re-Imagine Global Collaboration. In our group, we have an SL specialist, Sofia, and she is happy to support. Also, I am in touch with the World Café people who are active in SL and they are very supportive. I am sure they will be on board. I also know a couple of places in SL which can be used by non-profit organizations, so for the first OS, we would not need to buy property (although I like the idea of an Open Space island a lot). Probably we start small (logistics) but I can already see a large OS with some hundreds of people. I have heard that there are translator programmes for the chats, so we can really have a multi-lingual, global conference. If you are already in SL, my name there is Holger Glom - please contact me. This is exciting... * * ========================================================== osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu ------------------------------ To subscribe, unsubscribe, change your options, view the archives of osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu: http://listserv.boisestate.edu/archives/oslist.html To learn about OpenSpaceEmailLists and OSLIST FAQs: http://www.openspaceworld.org/oslist
