Thank you Harrison. I enjoyed the article on OS and Spirit immensely. Yes, I do consider OS a mind-body practice. My experience with OS gives me the sense that the emphasis is mind->body (as contrasted with body->mind as in hatha yoga or dance). The four principles begin cognitively and seem to create the natural state many practices talk about as a result of practice. Then a mind/body state of passion unleashes. I imagine that if a group was surveyed, many participants would report feeling physically more open, lighter, freer in their bodies as well. Has such an inquiry ever been made?
