Lucas, I was just talking about how someone should take up the challenge to you OS type tools to create this kind of debate.
I am unable to be there but very interested to see how it turns out. I wonder though...by framing it as "200 progressives" next to a rally of "conservatives" do you not start off by contradicting you claim of non-partisanship and fundamentally politicize your group's orientation? Is that detrimental to your goal? I would grant you that it is well understood that some conservatives are using a strategy of disruption to keep the debate out of the democrat's control and to encourage a certain wild notions about the health care bill alive. I am curious how OS can deal with active participants who would actively disrupt the discussions. I usually think the problem with this kind of thing is people being disinterested and not showing up with their passion...no problem like that here!
