Humanity First Prepares for Relief Work and Accepting Donations
Dear supporter of Humanity First,
You are receiving this email as you have been a supporter of
Humanity First and its mission to serve humanity worldwide,
regardless of color, race, nationality, or faith.
Situation
As you must have heard or read in the news, a 7.0 magnitude
earthquake has wreaked havoc in the impoverished Caribbean island of
Haiti. The earthquake struck yesterday at 5 pm EST in a highly
populated region 17 km from the capital city of Port-au-Prince.
Thousands are feared dead, many buildings have collapsed and the
under-developed infrastructure has been severely damaged. The island
has never experienced an earthquake of this intensity before and
sadly, the death toll following this destructive event is expected
to rise.
What Humanity First is Doing
