Good timing for this message . . . I just got volunteered to co-host a BarCamp for REALTOR techies here in Nashville.
Having never done nor participated in BarCamp, I studied it just enough to notice that it does appear to be a derivative of OST. My expectation of this experience is low with respect to community building. The author clearly has a tough time getting his arms around the power and experience that OST creates. My intention is to follow up this Nashville BarCamp with an OST event shortly afterwards for those with real passion and a wish for community. The Barcamp is in April . . .
