Larry,
Your report is really interesting. Congratulations on that positive feedback! May I confirm that you were conducting OS with /graduate students/ (ie: people pursuing MA or PhD degrees)? What type of program / discipline? I ask b/c in my experience, graduate students have been anything but indifferent. Cynical perhaps, self-absorbed, concerned about success, financial issues and mastery of the specialised vocabulary / theory/ knowledge base of their discipline, often seeking respect or feeling stymied by their research / programs of study; but not indifferent, and never concerned about disagreeing with others; except perhaps their supervisory committee members.

So I'm really curious as to what was causing these grad students to feel indifferent?

thanks,
Heather
