how many bones do you need? i was told once that even if we had no bones, we'd still sit upright -- because of fluid pressure. heart. juice. same person pointed out that one of the reasons some traditions do prostrations before meditation is that it moves the largest muscles of back and legs, and gets the heart pumping, so that meditation posture is supported by fluids, not muscle-effort. so we might say structure and spirit, bones and heart.
