My name is David Morgan. I have been practicing Open Space Technology since a year or so before my attendance at the Practice of Peace event on Whidbey Island, Washington, November 2003. I remember the magic of that event, with about 130 people. I met Harrison outside in the rain in his blue jeans, cowboy hat and smoking his pipe. I met some wonderful people that day; Anne Stadler who, it turns out I am related to from way back, Lisa Heft, Gabrielle Shirley, Peggy Holman and many others... For many years I have run industrial companies. For the past 8-years I have run a product company for a major non-profit, Perkins School for the Blind. I have been blessed to be able to apply the principles of self-organization and Open space to drive innovation and organizational change. We have been changing the face of education for the blind and how children learn braille - developing new product and driving innovation in education and product development. I am reaching out to this community to solicit stories from Open Space. Stories which reflect the use of Open Space Technology to drive innovation, product development, or organizational change...
