Dear Lucas and Michael,

I heard of this space invasion earlier and already sent my thoughts to
the Hosts of the WOSonOS in Krakow.

Here a summary:

--- This is not the setting I was invited to and signed up for and
arranged my accomodation and travel for.

--- I was happily expecting a face to face WOSonOS with the opportunity
to contribute and learn in an atmosphere of direct, undivided communication.

--- I discomfort myself with being in a breakout session surrounded by
folks with tablets or other mobile devices communicating with others not
present.

--- To me it is nothing less than a space invasion ... something I don't want to be exposed to.

At the Krakow WOSonOS I will therefore not participate in:

----- opening session for all participants
----- break out sessions
----- morning announcements
----- evening news
----- the closing circle

that are attended virtually by people not actually present.

I guess that would give me loads of opportunities to be a butterfly.

Wish you guys would actually come to Krakow.

Greetings from Berlin

Hi All,

WOSonOS (the World Open Space on Open Space) in Krakow is coming up
quickly on Sept 10-13. This year QiqoChat will add an online capability
to the main event (FREE) – for all those who can't attend, but also for
those who can. The OS community circle
<http://openspace.qiqochat.com/> on QiqoChat will support you in hosting
or joining an online session – /before, during, or even after/ the
Krakow gathering.

For instance, if you will be there in-person, you might open up your
computer, put it on a chair, and stream any session live so friends and
colleagues can participate from wherever they are. Alternatively, you
could offer to a friend to post a topic on the marketplace wall in
Krakow and you could attend that session with your computer so your
friend can lead their session from your screen. It's possible to post
any topic you have passion for and convene an online session with
friends and colleagues all around the world – with or without a
simultaneous session in Krakow.

To experiment with this new platform, visit the OS community circle
<http://openspace.qiqochat.com> and post a session; it's free! If
you're not already a member, you'll be able to sign-up quickly and learn
how to get started.

We're happy to assist with any questions, and suggestions are welcome!
Lucas Cioffi & Michael Herman
