If you take a look at http://download.osmand.net/rawindexes/, you'll see
that the file containing the full country has not been updated in July, it
is still dated 1 June 2016. To get the most recent map data, I need to get
the files for the individual regions.
But staring at that list for a little longer, I think I've just answered my
own question: for reasons that aren't quite clear to me, the division of
the Czech map files is not done according to the legal administrative
regions/states/provinces (as for most other countries), which is why the
list isn't what I expected to see. (So, for instance, if I want to look for
an address in the town of Liberec, I have to search the "severovychod"
("southeast") file rather than "Liberec region", where it is in the
official division.)
So I either have to use map data that is slightly out of date, or look for
my address in more than one file. As you know, the same problem occurs in
OsmAnd for other countries, e.g. The Netherlands or Germany. It can be
amended by adding an address file for the country (you'll see an old
"germany_addresses_nationwide" file in my screenshot), but I don't know
where to get or how to make such a file for the Czech Republic. (Can it be
done with OsmAndMapCreator on a PC with 8 GB RAM?)
