OsmAnd can separately highlight long distance local and regional hiking trails. Of course this doesn't include all hiking trails but it is still very useful.
Put OsmAnd into pedestrian mode and then: 1. Select "Configure map". 2. Scroll down to "Other map attributes". 3. Tap "Hiking symbol overlay" and then select "Colouring according to OSMC". Trails will now be highlighted, with names shown too usually.
