Maybe you could re-download the French TTS file? Go to Menu, Manage map files, Local. The TTS files are at the bottom. You might need to delete the corrupt one. If so, the replacement will be found in Menu, Manage map files, All downloads. Again the TTS files are at the bottom. Unwanted languages need not be downloaded.
