In Car mode, albeit using my Android Tablet, not the Android phone in use
in the car on two recent on-the-ground visits:-
With option "Fuel-efficient way " Ticked, the route is through the
bollards.
With option "Fuel-efficient way " UN-Ticked, the route is (correctly) a
long way round.

Quite possibly. I last experienced the same erroneous routing at that
location a week ago. I dont think've I changed my "Car" settings since
then.
